Transforming Sports Fans Into Sports Professionals

The Sports Business Academy presented by Malka Sports provides high school and college students a unique perspective in the multi-billion dollar sports industry. Its objectives are to educate, inspire and empower young people in their pursuits of a career in sports through special presentations, assignments and networking opportunities with highly successful sports professionals.

During the three-day event, students will gain insights into what the sports industry is, where opportunities exist, and best practices in landing a job and securing a successful career. Students will get a practical knowledge of professional and collegiate sports, the impact of media, sponsorship, marketing, player representation, facility management, etc. They will gain a greater understanding by examining the main issues in today’s sports business.
